About this model
A straight stone wall section with a stair ramp rising along its length to the parapet, built of rough masonry. It is about 12 ft wide, 50 ft long and 25.5 ft tall, ten squares long.
Use it to give defenders access to the walkway on top of a castle wall. In a siege, the stairs are a key route that attackers must take or hold. Fights on the stair force characters into a line and give the higher combatant the advantage of the high ground, which makes it a dramatic place for a duel.
Ideas for the table
- The party holds the stair to the parapet while the gate below is broken.
- An enemy champion blocks the top of the stair, challenging the party's best fighter.
- Smoke rolls up the stair from the burning courtyard as the party races to the battlements.
