About this model
A narrow corner section of a thinner fortress wall with crenellations on top, built of rough stone. It is about 15 ft by 15 ft and 28.5 ft tall.
Use it to turn a thin wall at a right angle in a smaller fort, an inner bailey or a town wall. It blocks movement and sight. Corners are where defenders gather to cover two faces, and where attackers often try to climb out of sight. Its tighter footprint suits an inner keep or a small border fort where space is short and thick walls would swallow the courtyard.
Ideas for the table
- Two guards at the corner have a clear view down both walls, so the party needs a distraction.
- A corner of the bailey wall hides a secret passage behind a loose stone.
- A troll scales the corner of the wall while the defenders are busy at the gate.
