About this model
A compact dry shrub with clumps of dark, drooping leaves and woody stems poking through, about 1.5 ft wide and 1.5 ft tall. It is one of the smallest bushes in the set and sits within a single square.
Use it as ground filler in dry forests, cracked plains and neglected estates. It is too low to hide behind except for something tiny, but it softens the base of rocks and walls and gives a map texture. Placed along a path in a line, these shrubs can mark an old garden border overrun by neglect.
Ideas for the table
- A tiny pseudodragon hides under a dry shrub and watches the party pass.
- Footprints vanish behind a row of shrivelled bushes, where a hidden cellar door lies.
- Withered shrubs mark the edge of a cursed estate where nothing has grown properly for a decade.
