About this model
A terracotta flowerpot with a rolled rim, tapering toward the base, its surface weathered and dusty. It holds soil but no plant. It is about a foot across and a foot tall.
Use it on windowsills, balconies, garden terraces and herbalists' shops. Alone it is minor clutter, but a row of planters lines a path or a courtyard well. Planters are also good for hiding keys, as anyone who has left a spare under a flowerpot knows, so players often check them first. Several in a row can also screen a low sill or a rooftop edge.
Ideas for the table
- The spare key to the merchant's townhouse is hidden under the third planter by the door.
- An herbalist's empty planter holds seeds of a plant that grows only on graves.
- A rooftop chase sends planters tumbling off a balcony onto the guards below.
