About this model
A smaller slab of dark weathered rock, steep on one side and broken into rough plates. It is about 9 ft wide, 7 ft deep and 8 ft tall, close to a two by one square block and a little taller than a person.
Use it to build up a rocky slope, a cave mouth or a broken ridge. It offers full cover and blocks sight for medium creatures. A climber can get onto it with some effort, which turns it into a modest high point. Mixed with larger cliffs it fills gaps and makes a rock wall look less uniform.
Ideas for the table
- A cave entrance hides behind a slab of dark rock at the base of the ridge.
- Wolves wait on top of the rock to spring at anyone walking the path beneath.
- A hermit has carved prayers into the rock face, and one of them is a warning about the mine.
