About this model
A tall, airy shrub with thin branches and small grey-green leaves, the kind of scrub that grows on dry slopes. It is about 6 ft by 6.5 ft and 7.5 ft tall, filling a block of about one by one squares and towering over a human.
Use it in heathland, savannah, river margins or the edges of a forest. Its foliage is loose, so it gives partial cover and a decent place to hide, and a group of them blocks long views across the map. Put several between a camp and a road to give scouts a reason to creep closer.
Ideas for the table
- Scouts creep through tall scrub to count the tents in the orc war camp.
- A displacer beast stalks the party through a stand of tall shrubs, its true position always uncertain.
- Herders have lost a goat in the tall scrub, and the bleating leads the party to a giant spider's lair.
