About this model
A tall, jagged pillar of rock with a crumbling face streaked in grey and brown. It is about 16.5 ft wide, 12.5 ft deep and 11.5 ft tall, around three by two squares of solid stone at twice a human's height.
This is a good outcrop for hillsides, mountain passes and canyon floors. It blocks line of sight and offers full cover, and a determined climber can reach its top for a vantage point. Put two of them close together and the gap between becomes a choke point that a small group can hold.
Ideas for the table
- Two rock outcrops form the only gap in the pass, and orcs have barricaded it.
- An eagle's nest on top of the rock holds a giant egg the party has been hired to retrieve.
- Kobolds have carved tiny handholds up the rock face to reach their lookout post.
