About this model
A squat, lidded cooking pot in dark brass with a slightly flared rim, a knob handle on top and a dull, blackened finish. It measures about a foot across and a foot high, a small object that sits on a hearth or table.
It belongs in kitchens, alchemists' workshops, witches' huts and caravan camps. On the battle map it is clutter, but it can hold something interesting: a stew, a potion, a trapped imp or a key. Players naturally lift lids, so the pot works well as a place to hide a clue or a surprise.
Ideas for the table
- The lid of a brass pot in a witch's kitchen rattles because a captured imp is trapped inside.
- A caravan cook's stew pot contains the smuggled gems the guards are looking for.
- An alchemist warns the party not to open the lidded pot, which of course someone does.
