About this model
A black wall-mounted lantern on a curled iron bracket, with a square glass lamp and a pointed cap. It looks like a historic street light. It is about 1.5 ft wide, 2.5 ft deep and 5.5 ft tall. The bracket curls out from the wall in decorative ironwork. The glass panes are slightly smoked.
Mount it on building walls in old towns, alleys and courtyards. Lights cast real shadows, so it lights a doorway or alley mouth with deep shadows beyond. It is good for setting mood and showing where it is safe to walk.
Ideas for the table
- The lantern over the tavern door is lit, which means the meeting is on.
- A cutpurse lurks just beyond the lantern's reach.
- The lantern swings in the wind, making the alley shadows dance.
