About this model
A yellow portable generator in a black tubular frame, with a fuel tank on top and an engine below. It looks well used. It is about 2.5 ft wide, 2 ft deep and 2 ft tall. Its yellow paint is scratched and dirty from use. A pull cord on the side starts the engine with a rattle and a cough.
Place it at construction sites, camps, film sets and survivor shelters. It powers lights and machines, so turning it off can plunge a scene into darkness. It is noisy, which can draw attention or mask other sounds.
Ideas for the table
- Switching off the generator kills every light in the camp.
- The generator is out of fuel, and the jerrycan is across the yard.
- The noise of the generator drowns out the footsteps of the approaching creature.
