About this model
A worn black rubber tyre with a heavy tread, lying on its side or propped up. It is about 2 ft across and half a foot thick. The rubber is cracked and the tread worn down, as if it has been sitting out in the weather for years. A stack of tyres gives a crouching character decent cover, and a pile of them makes a junkyard look busy. Kids might roll one in a market street, too.
Use it in scrapyards, garages, roadsides and wasteland camps. Stacked tyres make a quick barricade, and a lone tyre adds clutter to a yard. They also burn with thick black smoke.
Ideas for the table
- Burning tyres send black smoke across the battlefield.
- A child's swing made from a tyre hangs over the camp.
- The gang hides contraband inside a stack of old tyres.
