About this model
A red steel jerrycan with dents, scratches and a pressed side pattern. It looks like a military-style fuel can that has seen hard use. It is about a foot wide, half a foot deep and 1.5 ft tall. A spout cap is fixed to the top. Line several against a vehicle or a wall to show a stockpile worth defending or raiding.
Place it in garages, camps, convoy vehicles and wasteland settlements. It signals fuel, which players will think about the moment a fire starts. A jerrycan can be poured, thrown or used as a reason for a deal with desperate survivors.
Ideas for the table
- A trail of spilled fuel from a jerrycan leads to the hidden vehicle.
- The survivors want two full jerrycans in exchange for safe passage.
- A thrown jerrycan and a lit flare end the fight in a hurry.
