Oak Tree Large, a trees, rocks and nature 3D model for D&D battle maps

About this model

A huge, ancient oak with a wide, dense crown of green leaves. It spreads about 31 ft on each side, more than six squares across, and reaches about 30 ft high, dwarfing a human figure.

Use it as the centrepiece of a scene: a druid circle, an elven meeting place, a giant's landmark or the tree at the heart of a haunted wood. Its trunk blocks sight lines and its great boughs can hold several climbers, a treehouse or a nest. Even a single one can anchor a whole outdoor map and give the fight a natural shape around it.

Ideas for the table

  • An elven council meets beneath a vast oak, and the party must win a hearing before the vote.
  • A wyvern has nested in the crown of a giant oak above a farming village.
  • Goblins have built rope bridges through the boughs of an enormous oak and drop nets on intruders.
