About this model
A rounded mound of tall grass with fine blades in dark green and olive, bushy and slightly unkempt. It looks natural and dense. The tuft is about 1 ft across and half a foot tall.
Use it to fill out grassland, overgrown ruins or the edges of a farm track. Mixing it with the other large grass variants gives a field depth and avoids obvious repeats. Dense grass like this is good cover for snakes, rabbits or a lost item in a search scene. Ring a ruined shrine or an old well with a few mounds and the site looks forgotten. They also hide the base of fences and walls neatly.
Ideas for the table
- A pressure plate is hidden under a mound of grass in front of the ruined shrine.
- Field mice gnawing at the grass have exposed old coins buried just under the surface.
- The bard's familiar vanishes into the grass and returns with a scrap of torn cloak.
