About this model
A wide, dense mound of tall grass with fine blades in green and pale gold, spreading outward from a thick centre. It looks wild and soft. The patch is about 1 ft across and half a foot tall in its bounding box, a compact tuft on the grid.
Use it to fill meadows, wild gardens, riverbanks and forest edges. Grouped together, these mounds make a field look overgrown and give ground-level textures some volume. A cluster can suggest a place where small creatures hide or where the party can lie low.
Ideas for the table
- The party hides in the long grass while a patrol of hobgoblins marches past.
- A lost pony grazes in the grass, still wearing the saddle of a missing messenger.
- Burning the meadow would flush out the ambushers, but it might spread to the village.
