About this model
A low weed with two or three wide, heart-shaped green leaves on short stems. It looks fresh and simple. The plant is about half a foot across and very low, just a scrap of green on the grid.
Use it as ground clutter around tree roots, against walls, in dungeon cracks or along garden beds. It works well in small numbers to add texture without overwhelming a scene. Around ruins and abandoned homes, weeds like this suggest time has passed. Set them in cracks along a dungeon corridor to show where water seeps in, or spread a few around a well. They also make a garden bed look half tended, which says a lot about the owner.
Ideas for the table
- Weeds growing through the dungeon floor show where daylight once reached through a collapsed shaft.
- A trail of crushed weeds reveals the route the kidnappers took through the garden.
- A rare variant of the weed glows faintly in moonlight, and an alchemist wants a sample.
