About this model
A tall nettle plant with a thin stem and alternating clusters of serrated green leaves, fuller towards the base. It looks wild and leggy. Its footprint is about half a foot square and half a foot tall as listed, a slender weed.
Use it with the other nettles to build up hedgerows, ditches and overgrown corners. Weeds like this make an abandoned property feel genuinely neglected. In play, a dense patch of nettles is a fine place to drop a lost key or to make a sneaking character think twice.
Ideas for the table
- A thief drops his loot into the nettle patch while fleeing, and nobody wants to fetch it.
- The ghost of a gardener appears beside the nettles and asks the party to clear them.
- Nettles grow in a perfect circle around a buried iron box.
