About this model
A low, elongated piece of grey stone with a pitted, chalky surface and soft edges. It looks dusty and weathered, like rock that has lain in the open for a long time. The stone is about half a foot long and very low.
Use it to break up empty ground in desert, mountain, crater or alien terrain. Mixed with the other stones in the set, it gives a natural, uneven scatter that does not look copied and pasted. It will not stop anyone moving, but it suggests rough footing where the DM wants it.
Ideas for the table
- Footprints in the dust between the grey stones lead towards a cave no map shows.
- A swarm of tiny rock-eating beetles is slowly devouring the stones in the crater.
- The party uses these stones to weigh down a tent during a ferocious dust storm.
