About this model
A chunky, angular grey rock with a sharp ridge on top and a pale, dusty surface. It is more upright than the flatter pieces in its set. The stone is about half a foot in each direction, a small object that takes up only a corner of a square.
Place it in a rock field, a quarry, a crater, a cliff base or the surface of a barren moon. A handful of these breaks up flat ground and gives tokens something to stand among. Clustered with larger boulders it suggests rubble from a rockfall, a natural place for small creatures to lurk.
Ideas for the table
- A rune carved into the side of this rock marks the entrance to a buried observatory.
- Rubble like this rock fills the passage after a cave-in, and the party must dig through before the air runs out.
- Kobolds roll stones down the slope at the party, using the larger rocks below as cover.
