About this model
A shorter straight run of thin wall with a crenellated top, about 8.5 ft thick, 25 ft long and 26.5 ft tall, five squares in length.
Use it to fill gaps between towers or to finish a wall run without overshooting. It is impassable without climbing and blocks sight. Shorter sections are useful for building compact keeps, walled gardens and small outposts. Its half length is handy when a run of full sections leaves an awkward gap. It also works well as a standalone ruin: a broken fragment of wall in a forest or on a hilltop gives players something to explore and somewhere to shelter. Place a tower at each end and it becomes a compact gatehouse curtain for a small outpost on a road.
Ideas for the table
- A walled garden behind the keep hides a tomb the lord does not want found.
- A short wall section between two towers is the weakest point in the fort's defences.
- The party builds a hasty wall to hold off the undead until morning.
