About this model
A massive coastal cliff line, a long, high wall of rock with stepped ledges and a ragged top edge. It runs about 302 ft long, is 36 ft deep and stands 34 ft tall, sixty squares long and as high as a large building.
Use it as the backbone of a coast map, separating the beach from the clifftop. It blocks everything below from seeing what is above, so it is ideal for scenes where enemies attack from the top. Paths cut into it, caves at its base and lookout posts on the edge give the party many routes to explore.
Ideas for the table
- Cultists signal ships from the top of the cliff while the party climbs the path cut into its face.
- Sea caves at the foot of the cliff flood twice a day, and the party must escape before the tide.
- A lighthouse keeper on the clifftop has not been seen in a week, and gulls circle his door.
