About this model
A tall black cast iron street lamp with a square lantern head on a slim fluted post. It looks Victorian. It is about 2.5 ft across at the base and 12.5 ft tall. The iron is painted black, with a fluted post and a square glass lantern on top. A row of them along a cobbled street sets a strong period mood. Players can climb one to see over a crowd or use it as a meeting point.
Line streets, parks and squares with it in historic or gaslit settings. Lights cast real shadows, so each lamp makes a pool of light with darkness between. It is ideal for night chases and gothic horror.
Ideas for the table
- A figure waits under the lamp, face hidden in shadow.
- The lamps go out one by one along the street.
- A climber shins up the lamp post to see over the crowd.
