About this model
A brass chandelier with five arms ending in pleated fabric lampshades, hanging from a short chain and ceiling rose. It is about 2.5 ft across and 2.5 ft tall.
Hang it above dining tables, parlours and inn common rooms in a period or gothic setting. With a warm light attached it lights the room from above and casts real shadows. In a fight, characters might shoot the chain to drop it on enemies or swing from it, which makes it a memorable bit of terrain. A cold, unlit chandelier hanging in dust also tells players the house has been shut for a long time.
Ideas for the table
- The rogue shoots the chain, and the chandelier crashes onto the cultists gathered below.
- In a haunted parlour, the chandelier sways slowly whenever the ghost is nearby.
- A swashbuckler swings from the chandelier across the ballroom to reach the masked assassin.
