About this model
A sandstone wall section with a small square window cut through its middle. It is 5 ft wide, 1 ft thick and 7 ft tall, built from the same pale yellow stone as the rest of the set.
Use it to give desert houses, towers and temples light and a view outward. A window keeps movement blocked while letting sight and missiles through, which gives defenders a reason to stay put. It also serves as an entry point for climbers, a lookout spot and a place to lower ropes or messages.
Ideas for the table
- A prisoner signals from a high sandstone window, and the party must decode the pattern of her lamp.
- Assassins fire crossbows through the windows of a desert inn during dinner.
- A thief must climb through a narrow tower window to reach the vizier's study.
