Stone Wall Doorway, a walls, doors and windows 3D model for D&D battle maps

About this model

A mossy grey stone wall section with a square-headed doorway through it. It is 5 ft wide, 1 ft thick and 7 ft tall. The rough grey blocks and patchy moss match the solid wall, so the opening blends into a long corridor.

Use it for dungeon rooms, castle chambers, guardhouses and cellars. Add a door token to make it locked, barred or trapped, or leave it open. Doorways are where most dungeon fights begin, so they work as tension points: listening at them, kicking them in and holding them shut. Placing two or three doorways along one passage gives players real choices about which room to try first.

Ideas for the table

  • A stone doorway in a dungeon has fresh scratch marks on the inside, as if something tried to get out.
  • Hobgoblins hold a castle doorway with shields while archers fire past them.
  • The party barricades a cellar doorway against a horde and must last until dawn.
