About this model
A flat, irregular slab of pale grey stone with a rough top and a thin profile. It looks like a broken chunk of crust lying on dusty ground. The piece is about half a foot across and only a few inches high.
It works best as ground scatter: lay it in groups across a desert floor, a dry crater, a ruined quarry or an alien world. Low stones like this do not block movement or sight, but they make a plain ground surface read as rocky and broken, and a dense patch can stand in for difficult terrain.
Ideas for the table
- Flat grey stones laid in a spiral across the crater floor form a summoning circle.
- One of the slabs hides a burrow, and something pale climbs out when the party steps near.
- The caravan guide marks the safe path through the sinkholes with a line of these stones.
