About this model
A chest of drawers in rich reddish-brown wood, with three deep drawers, carved panels and a moulded top. It looks well kept and expensive. The piece is about 4 ft wide, 2 ft deep and 4 ft tall, small enough to sit against a wall within a single square.
Use it in bedrooms, dressing rooms and offices to give a room a lived-in feel. During a search scene the drawers are where players expect letters, jewellery and spare clothes, so it is a good place to plant clues. In a fight it gives a little cover to someone ducking behind it and can be pulled across a doorway as a barricade.
Ideas for the table
- The bottom drawer is locked, and the key is in the pocket of the dead steward downstairs.
- A mimic disguised as this commode waits for someone to open the top drawer.
- Each drawer holds a different forged identity, all bearing the same face.
