About this model
A black lacquered coffee table with a glass-like top, scrolled corners and short curved legs. It has a slightly ornate, old-world look. The table is about 5 ft long, 3 ft wide and 1.5 ft tall, one square by just under one.
Place it in a living room, a hotel suite, a mob boss's lounge or a waiting room. It is low cover if flipped and clutter that slows movement. It also gives a scene somewhere to lay out a briefcase of money or a stack of photographs. Its dark finish suits noir interiors well.
Ideas for the table
- A crime boss lays out photos of the party's families on his coffee table during negotiations.
- Someone kicks the coffee table over during an argument, and a hidden pistol slides across the floor.
- A medium uses the lacquered table for a seance, and the glass top starts to crack.
