About this model
A carved wooden side chair with open arms, upholstered in muted sage green on the seat and back. The frame is dark and slender with turned legs, matching a set of formal period furniture. It measures about 2 ft wide and 2 ft deep, comfortably under a square, and stands around 3.5 ft tall.
Line several of them along a dining table, set one by a writing desk or place a pair in a waiting room. In combat a chair is minor clutter, something to kick into an enemy's path or stand on to reach a high shelf. Its colour helps tell a sitting room apart from a plainer dining hall at a glance.
Ideas for the table
- One green chair at the banquet is noticeably warmer than the rest, which leads the party to the poisoner.
- A suspect insists she was sitting in this chair all evening, but the dust on the seat says otherwise.
- During a brawl in the manor the rogue flips a chair up as a makeshift shield.
