About this model
A clump of ursinia with fine, dark feathery leaves and several bright orange daisy-like flowers. It is about 1.5 ft across, a foot deep and half a foot tall.
Use it in warm meadows, desert gardens and coastal hillsides. It is decorative. Bright orange clumps break up dry grass or sand and add warmth to a scene. In a field or garden, a few of them help players see the edges of paths and planting beds. They suit a hillside above a coastal town or the garden of a desert villa, where hardy plants survive the heat. Several clumps make a convincing flowering slope.
Ideas for the table
- Bright orange flowers cover the hillside where a dragon sleeps, unaware of the honey-seeking bees.
- A garden maze is planted with ursinia in patterns that show the way out.
- Wildflowers on a battlefield grow thickest where the fallen are buried.
