About this model
A small dandelion plant with long, narrow toothed leaves and a single closed bud on a stalk. It is about half a foot across and half a foot tall.
Use it as fine ground detail on meadows, in village gardens and along paths. It has no tactical role. Mixed with flowering dandelions it adds variety. Plants like this suit quiet scenes, a picnic or a pastoral village, where players will notice the small touches. Place a few beside the flowering ones so a patch of grass shows plants at different stages, which makes a meadow look grown rather than placed.
Ideas for the table
- Village children compete to find the first dandelion bud of spring.
- Weeds sprouting around a stone circle show it has not been visited in many years.
- A gnome brews dandelion wine and needs the party to collect unopened buds.
