About this model
A long, low rosewood sideboard in classical Chinese style, with drawers and panelled doors along its front and a raised lip at each end. It is about 15 ft long, 4 ft deep and 6.5 ft tall, covering a strip of three squares.
Use it along a wall in a palace hall, a temple storeroom or a rich merchant's reception room. It provides full cover to anyone behind it and makes a long line of furniture to fight around. Its many drawers give the DM plenty of places to put scrolls, seals or hidden items.
Ideas for the table
- The imperial seal is in one of the sideboard's many drawers, and the party has one minute to find it.
- A ninja crouches behind the long sideboard, waiting for the guards to pass.
- Opening the wrong drawer releases a cloud of poison dust.
