About this model
A rustic rectangular table with a thick wooden frame and sturdy legs, its top draped with a rumpled plaid cloth. It is about 7.5 ft long, 4.5 ft wide and 3 ft tall, covering roughly one and a half by one squares.
It is a centrepiece for taverns, farmhouse kitchens, banquet halls and guild meetings. In combat it gives cover to someone crouched behind it and can be flipped on its side for a makeshift barricade. Characters can also jump onto it for a dramatic charge, which makes a tavern brawl more fun.
Ideas for the table
- The party flips the dining table to shield themselves from crossbow bolts during a farmhouse siege.
- A feast for a visiting lord is laid out on this table, and one dish has been poisoned.
- A bard leaps onto the table to deliver a rousing speech before the brawl begins.
