About this model
A thin, crooked branch with smaller twigs sprouting from it, grey and bare of leaves. It is about 4.5 ft long and a foot wide, a foot high at most, lying across roughly one square.
Scatter it under trees, along forest paths and around campsites. It is too thin to give cover, but it helps a forest floor look natural. Several branches packed together can be treated as difficult terrain, and a snapping twig makes a good excuse for a failed stealth roll when the party sneaks through the woods.
Ideas for the table
- A twig snaps under a careless boot, and the sleeping owlbear opens one eye.
- Branches have been laid across the path in a deliberate pattern that marks an elven border.
- Firewood gathered by the party includes one branch that is actually a twig blight.
