About this model
A weathered tan brick wall section with a square window opening set at chest height. It is 5 ft wide, 1 ft thick and 7 ft tall, fitting one grid edge. The opening has no frame or glass, as if long since lost.
Use it in ruined cottages, old shops and abandoned houses. A window lets characters see and shoot through while staying mostly in cover. It is also a possible way in or out for a nimble character. Leave it empty in a ruin, or describe shutters hanging loose. A window high enough to block a shot from below makes the defenders inside feel secure until someone climbs.
Ideas for the table
- A crossbowman fires through the window of a ruined house at the party approaching down the street.
- A thief slips out through a broken window as the guards burst in through the front door.
- Something watches the party through the window of an abandoned cottage.
