About this model
A small bedside table with a worn brown wooden top, a shallow drawer and tapering legs painted dark slate blue. It is about 1.5 ft square and 2 ft tall, filling part of a single square. The blue paint is scuffed along the legs.
Place it beside a bed in an inn room, a manor bedroom or a cottage loft. It is the first thing players will search in a bedroom. It holds a candle, a book, a letter or a hidden dagger, and in a fight it is just small clutter. Pair it with a bed and a candlestick for a quick inn room.
Ideas for the table
- A letter in the nightstand drawer at the inn reveals that the last guest was being followed.
- A ring left on the nightstand turns out to belong to a missing noble.
- An assassin slips poison into the water glass on the nightstand while the target sleeps.
