About this model
A tall open bookcase in weathered grey-brown wood, with six empty shelves and scuffed edges that show long use. It is about 4.5 ft wide, 2 ft deep and 7 ft tall, roughly one square standing tall against a wall.
Line them along a library, a scholar's study, an abandoned archive or a shop back room. Fill the area with books and scrolls in your descriptions or leave them bare for a looted feel. A bookcase can be toppled onto enemies, hide a secret door, or give full cover to someone pressed behind it.
Ideas for the table
- Pulling the right book from the worn shelves swings the whole case open onto a hidden stair.
- A poltergeist hurls the contents of the shelves at intruders in the haunted library.
- The party topples a bookcase to block the door while cultists hammer from the other side.
