About this model
A tall dresser painted a worn slate blue, with open plate racks above and a closed cupboard below. It is about 3.5 ft wide, 2.5 ft deep and 8.5 ft tall, a narrow but towering piece filling one square. Its paint is rubbed thin on the cupboard doors.
Put it against a farmhouse kitchen wall, in a country inn or a cottage dining room, ideally with plates on its racks in your description. It anchors a room visually. It is full cover for someone pressed behind it, and when it falls it brings every dish down with it.
Ideas for the table
- The dresser in a haunted kitchen rattles its plates whenever a lie is spoken.
- A hidden panel behind the blue dresser leads to a priest hole used during the inquisition.
- Ogres crash through the cottage and the party pulls the dresser down on the first one through the door.
