About this model
A conical fir tree with dense dark green needles and a straight trunk. It is about 15.5 ft by 14 ft and 23 ft tall, covering roughly three squares by three. Its branches sweep down nearly to the ground, leaving little room beneath.
Plant it in mountain forests, northern woods and snowy landscapes. A stand of firs makes a dark, enclosed forest. The trunk offers cover, and the dense branches hide climbers. The dense branches block sight well, so a few together make a natural screen. They suit snowy scenes and dark pine woods where something follows the party.
Ideas for the table
- Wolves circle the party through a dark fir forest.
- A woodcutter's cabin is hidden among the firs.
- A frost giant shoulders through the fir trees toward the village.
