About this model
A modern open shelving unit with a black metal frame, light wooden shelves on top and a stack of wooden drawers below. It is about 4 ft wide, 1.5 ft deep and 6 ft tall, slightly less than a square against a wall.
It suits modern offices, apartments, workshops and labs. It offers some cover and can be pulled over to block a corridor. The drawers and shelves are natural places to search, so put a file, a weapon or a clue there for an investigation scene. It also fits a sci-fi crew cabin.
Ideas for the table
- A hacker's apartment has a drawer full of burner phones and one marked with a red dot.
- The party pulls the shelving unit over to block the lab door against the creature.
- A missing researcher's notes are hidden behind the bottom drawer of her office shelves.
