About this model
A tall, dark-stained wooden sideboard with a glazed upper hutch, an arched carved crest, panelled doors and drawers below. It looks heavy and old fashioned. The piece is about 6.5 ft wide, 2 ft deep and 7.5 ft tall, spanning a little over one square against a wall and rising above head height.
It belongs in dining rooms, manor houses, gothic mansions and antique shops. A creature can hide behind it or use it as cover, and players can tip it over to block a doorway. The drawers and glass cabinet are natural places for clues, heirlooms or a nasty surprise.
Ideas for the table
- In a haunted manor, the glass doors of the dining room cabinet rattle as the family ghost tries to warn the party.
- The party topples the heavy sideboard across the doorway to hold back the zombies.
- A drawer in the cabinet holds the deed to the estate, which three heirs are willing to kill for.
