Cave Wall, a walls, doors and windows 3D model for D&D battle maps

About this model

A section of rough, dark cave rock with a slightly blue-black sheen. It is 5 ft wide, 1.5 ft thick and 8 ft tall, filling one grid edge. Its surface is rough and wet-looking, with deep cracks.

Use it to build caves, mines, underground passages and monster lairs. It blocks movement and sight. Combine it with cave floor tiles for a complete underground scene. Run sections along curving lines to make a natural tunnel. Darkness pools against walls like this, so a light source carried by the party makes all the difference. Mix it with archways for side passages.

Ideas for the table

  • Glowing fungus grows along the cave wall, casting an eerie light.
  • A tunnel mouth in the cave wall leads to a goblin warren.
  • A cave-in blocks the passage behind the party, trapping them in the mine.
