About this model
A tall section of castle wall built from rough sandy stone blocks. It is 5 ft wide, 1.5 ft thick and 14 ft tall, filling one grid edge. The stone is sandy and weathered, with rough block faces.
Use it to build keeps, fortresses, city walls and ruined castles. It blocks movement and sight, offering full cover. It is tall enough that climbing it is a real challenge. Run sections end to end to make a curtain wall, then add battlements on top. At 14 ft tall it towers over a mini, and a character trying to scale it will need rope or magic.
Ideas for the table
- Besiegers raise ladders against the castle wall while defenders pour boiling oil.
- A rope dangles from the top of the castle wall where a spy escaped in the night.
- The party climbs the castle wall under cover of darkness to rescue a prisoner.
