About this model
A red brick wall section with a tall, square-topped doorway. It is 5 ft wide, 1 ft thick and 7 ft tall, fitting one grid edge. The square opening is framed by straight brick jambs and a flat lintel.
Use it for entrances to townhouses, shops, warehouses and taverns. Place a door in the opening or leave it empty for a ruined building. It makes a natural choke point. Add a wooden door to make it a shopfront, or leave it gaping for a burnt-out house. It works in fantasy cities and modern streets alike, and a doorway on a narrow street becomes the place both sides fight for.
Ideas for the table
- A doorway into a warehouse is blocked by crates, forcing the party to find another way in.
- Cultists guard the doorway into a basement where a ritual is taking place.
- The party breaks down a door in a brick wall to rescue a kidnapped merchant.
