Plastic Chair, a furniture 3D model for D&D battle maps

About this model

A white plastic garden chair with a moulded slatted back. It is the cheap stackable kind seen everywhere. It is about 2 ft across and 3 ft tall. The white plastic is a little dirty and scuffed, the kind left out on a terrace all year. A row of them in a hall makes a meeting room or a waiting area. A single chair placed oddly in the middle of a room can be unsettling, particularly in a horror scene.

Use it at cafés, beach bars, gardens and camps. It is light and easy to move or throw. It adds an everyday feel to a modern scene.

Ideas for the table

  • A row of plastic chairs faces an empty stage in the abandoned hall.
  • The witness sits nervously in a plastic chair in the interview room.
  • A chair thrown in the fight shatters harmlessly on the attacker.
