About this model
A grey steel office desk with drawer pedestals on both sides and a flat top. It is the plain, heavy kind found in government offices and police stations. It measures about 6.5 ft wide, 3 ft deep and 2.5 ft tall. The grey paint is chipped at the corners. It is the kind of desk that has outlasted several occupants. Its weight makes it hard to move, so once it is flipped it stays put. Clutter on top tells players about the person who works there.
Put it in offices, police stations, labs and military bases. It is solid furniture, so a character crouched behind it has good cover. The drawers invite searching for files and keys.
Ideas for the table
- The desk drawers are locked, and the key is on the guard's belt.
- Pinned down, the party flips the steel desk and fights from behind it.
- A note under the blotter gives the code to the evidence room.
