About this model
A tall bar stool with a round dark wooden seat on a black metal frame with hoop footrests. It is about a foot across and 3 ft tall. The dark seat is worn smooth, and the frame is simple and sturdy. A row of them at a bar or counter tells players where people gather, and an empty one beside a full glass invites questions about who just left. They suit modern and twentieth century scenes alike.
Line it up at bars, diners, kitchen counters and laboratory benches. It is light clutter that fills a room. In a brawl stools get knocked over, thrown or used to trip someone up.
Ideas for the table
- A drunk falls off his stool and starts the bar fight.
- The informant always sits on the last stool by the window.
- Someone wedges a stool under the door handle to slow the pursuers.
