About this model
A small green goblin with large pointed ears, a grinning face, a round wooden shield and a short sword. It wears a battered leather tunic and stands in a ready crouch. The figure is about 4.5 ft tall on a footprint near 2.5 by 3 ft, one square.
Goblins are the classic first fight: ambushers on a forest road, raiders in a cave or thieves in the sewers. Place them behind rocks, in brush and on ledges, and use plenty of them. Each token tracks its own hit points, and the condition markers help keep a big skirmish readable.
Ideas for the table
- Goblins have strung a tripwire across the trail and wait behind boulders for the party's horses to fall.
- A goblin begs for its life and offers a map of the warren, which is wrong in three dangerous places.
- In a cave, goblins hurl rocks from a high ledge while their friends try to cut the party's rope bridge.
