About this model
A shambling zombie with grey decaying skin, exposed ribs and a blank stare, wearing torn trousers and scraps of cloth. Its arms hang loose and its shoulders slump. The figure stands about 6 ft tall on a slim footprint of roughly 2.5 by 1.5 ft, one square.
Use zombies in graveyards, plague villages, necromancer towers and flooded crypts. They are slow and numerous, so fill a map with them and let the party choose whether to fight or flee. Track hit points on each token, because zombies tend to keep getting back up.
Ideas for the table
- Zombies rise from a battlefield every night until the party finds the unburied commander.
- A necromancer's zombies work the fields of an abandoned farm, harvesting crops for no one.
- A zombie in a sealed cellar still wears the uniform of the town guard captain.
