About this model
A dark, angular combat mech with a large gun mounted on its back and powerful legs. It covers about 9 ft by 10 ft, two squares, and stands about 11 ft tall. The paint is dark and matt, which helps it lurk in shadowed hangars.
Use it in sci-fi battle maps, military bases and ruined cities. It carries HP, conditions and initiative on the grid. Its long gun suggests a heavy hitter that controls open ground, so the party will want cover and a way to get close. It works well as a mid-sized threat between infantry and the largest walkers.
Ideas for the table
- A dark mech holds a ridge, and its gun covers the only road through the valley.
- Engineers need the party to escort a mech to a repair bay through hostile territory.
- A malfunctioning mech fires at random inside a hangar while the party tries to shut it down.
